Information for Competitors

2011 Competitions and Rules

Thank you for your interest in competing at the US Open SDC this year. We have updated and made some changes to our rules and divisions. Our registrations are processed online and the below information should help you to make the process easy.

Please print and read our RULES AND INFORMATION PACKET (about 18 pages). If you still have questions, please email me, Tyoni Martin at tyonim@globaldance.tv .
You can start registering July 1st, but you should enter by October 1st to be guaranteed entry in a division and at the lowest entry fees. After October 1st, fees go up and divisions can be closed. On-line registration will close on November 18th.
Pre-registration is required for all contests. Absolutely NO registrations will be taken at the event for any routine division. We may or may not take registrations at the event for the Jack & Jills and Strictlys. If you want to compete at the Open, please do so early.

TO REGISTER FOR COMPETITION:

You will need the following information for both partners (or the responsible person for Teams & Cabaret):
- Complete names of competitors
- Addresses of competitors
- Phone numbers of competitors
- Email addresses competitors
- If a minor, parent or guardians information
You will need a credit card to process your on-line entry. We accept Master Card and Visa only.
It is easiest to purchase your discounted competitor ticket when you register. If you do not purchase at this time, you can purchase through our “TICKET” section. Discounted competitors tickets WILL NOT be sold at the event. If you are a competitor, make sure you order your ticket before November 18th.

For routine divisions, you will need a photo (head shot) and a bio for the program. Please see these two sections for details. We highly recommend you have this material ready at the time you register as it is the easiest. If you do not have it at the time you register, please follow the webmaster’s instructions for submitting. If you submit outside of this recommended format, we will not guarantee the information will make it into the program.
